External Growth Opportunities:
- NAACP Grant Writing Assistance
- Mentorship Program
- Hold Community Conversations around Hiring Policies/Implicit Bias
- Support Leaders of Color Running for Office & Host Town Halls for all Candidates
- Communicate to the Greater Community about Church’s Allyship
Internal Growth Opportunities:
- Look closely at congregational investments, expenditures and grants
- Write and adopt and Allyship Statement
- Rent Church Space to Organizations of Color
- Write and adopt an Anti-Discrimination Statement
- Identify Minority Owned Businesses for Church Projects
- Share Learnings of Workshop with Committees and Congregation
